How Much Is a Quad Bike? Prices and What’s Included
Paul WildeShare
How much is a quad bike for a smallholding, equestrian property or farm? Our new CFMOTO CFORCE C-Series starts at £4,700 for the C4 Agri, plus VAT, delivery and optional road registration.
However, finding good value means looking beyond the starting price. The equipment included, how comfortable the machine is to use and whether it suits your work all matter.
That is why we are particularly impressed with the new CFORCE C4 and C5. They combine affordable prices with useful standard equipment and thoughtful improvements to everyday comfort. For anyone considering a new quad, there is plenty here worth a closer look.
How Much Does a New CFMOTO Quad Bike Cost?
The new C-Series gives you three options, depending on your budget and the features you value most.
All prices below are plus VAT, delivery and optional road registration. We have also included the machine prices with VAT at 20% to make budgeting easier.
CFORCE C4 Agri: £4,700 Plus VAT
The CFMOTO CFORCE C4 Agri costs £5,640 including VAT, before delivery and optional road registration.
It has a 408.8cc engine, selectable two-wheel and four-wheel drive, and steel wheels. It does not have power steering, which helps keep the purchase price lower.
However, choosing the Agri does not mean missing out on the new engine platform or useful equipment such as a winch and steel carrying racks. It is worth considering if you want the benefits of the new C-Series and are comfortable with unassisted steering.
CFORCE C4: £5,750 Plus VAT
The CFMOTO CFORCE C4 costs £6,900 including VAT, before delivery and optional road registration.
It uses the same engine size as the Agri, but adds electronic power steering and alloy wheels. Power steering reduces the effort needed to turn the handlebars, which can make repeated manoeuvres around yards, gateways and feeding areas more comfortable.
The difference is £1,050 excluding VAT compared with the Agri. If you use your quad frequently, steering assistance is a feature we would encourage you to consider carefully. Its value becomes clearer when you think about a full working day, rather than a single journey across a field.
CFORCE C5: £6,250 Plus VAT
The CFMOTO CFORCE C5 costs £7,500 including VAT, before delivery and optional road registration.
For £500 more excluding VAT than the C4, you get a larger 498.6cc engine. UK models also come with factory-fitted heated grips and a heated thumb throttle.
Those heated controls are a welcome addition for early starts, winter feeding rounds and year-round property maintenance. Alongside the larger engine, they make the C5 a particularly attractive option for buyers looking for more comfort and performance without a large jump in price.

Why We Are Impressed with the New C4 and C5
What stands out to us is how much attention CFMOTO has given to the way these machines are used.
The new engines and redesigned CVT transmissions are built around smoother power delivery, including at low speeds. A CVT is an automatic transmission that adjusts its gearing as you drive, so you do not need to change gears manually as your speed changes.
That matters when you are moving through gateways, checking livestock or working around a busy yard. For these jobs, predictable control is more useful than a headline top-speed figure.
CFMOTO has also improved the riding position, fitted a more supportive seat and made changes to reduce vibration and the engine heat reaching the rider’s legs. These may seem like small details individually, but comfort deserves attention when a quad will become part of your daily routine.
Both models also include a winch, reinforced steel racks and LED lighting with indicators and a reversing light. Together, these features help explain why we see the new range as such a strong proposition.
New C-Series quads come with a two-year parts and labour warranty, subject to CFMOTO’s terms. We can explain the cover and servicing requirements when discussing your machine.
How to Compare Quad Bike Prices Fairly
When comparing a CFMOTO quad bike with another machine, start with the equipment you need. Then compare the cost of getting each quad ready for the same work.
For example, if you need a winch, check whether it is included or priced separately. If power steering is important, compare models that both have it. Likewise, include any storage boxes or other accessories you plan to fit.
This gives you a much more useful comparison than engine size and advertised price alone.
Towing also deserves a quick conversation before you buy. Tell us about your trailer or implement so we can check the required connection, any additional fittings and the relevant capacity. A larger engine does not automatically mean a higher permitted towing weight, and a winch rating is not a towing limit.
Our aim is to help you understand the complete cost from the outset, including the equipment that makes the quad useful for your particular jobs.
Do You Need Road Registration?
We offer road registration (Agri and PLG) as an optional addition because customers use their quads differently.
If you need a road legal quad bike, let us know when you enquire. Travelling between fields on a public road still counts as road use, even if the journey is short.
The quad must have the appropriate approval and registration, and you will need suitable insurance. Requirements for vehicle tax, MOT testing and permitted use depend on the vehicle and how it is registered.
We can help you establish the right arrangements before purchase. That way, your quotation reflects how you intend to use the machine.
What Else Should You Allow For?
Beyond the quad, delivery and any road registration, it is sensible to budget for the essentials of ownership.
These include suitable rider training, a properly fitted helmet and other protective equipment, insurance, secure storage and routine servicing. Fuel and wear items, such as tyres, should also form part of your running-cost expectations.
Then consider any equipment needed for your work. A suitable trailer, storage box or ATV attachment may be more useful to you than moving up to a larger engine.
For example, an equestrian owner collecting paddock debris may get more benefit from a well-matched trailer and comfortable steering. Someone working outdoors throughout winter may place greater value on the C5’s heated controls.
There is no single specification that suits everyone. The best starting point is what you want the quad to do.
Which Quad Would We Recommend?
The C4 Agri is worth considering if keeping the initial cost down matters and you are happy without power steering. The C4 adds steering assistance and alloy wheels, while the C5 brings a larger engine and useful cold-weather comfort for a relatively modest increase in price.
We are enthusiastic about the new range because it gives buyers meaningful choices at accessible prices. More importantly, those choices relate to how you will actually use the machine.
