CFMOTO C-Series Launch: Why the New C4 and C5 Stand Out

On 4 August 2026, we attended the CFMOTO UK dealer conference, which also served as the official UK launch of the new CFORCE C-Series ATV range.

The launch introduced three new quad bikes: the CFORCE C4 Agri, CFORCE C4 and CFORCE C5. All three replace established models in the existing CFMOTO range. However, these are not simply updated machines with new bodywork and different names.

They use a completely new engine platform, a redesigned chassis and a more comfortable riding position. They also offer greater carrying capacity, refined low-speed control and several thoughtful features that should make a genuine difference during a working day.

I was already looking forward to seeing the new range. Having now seen what CFMOTO has developed, I am even more confident that these products will do extremely well in the UK.

A New Generation of CFMOTO ATVs

CFMOTO is already the UK’s best-selling ATV and UTV range, and the company is showing no sign of slowing down.

That success has been built on much more than competitive pricing. For many years, CFMOTO has produced high-quality, durable and well-equipped machines for customers who expect their vehicles to work hard.

The new C-Series pushes that approach even further.

These models are more affordable than comparable machines from many long-established manufacturers. However, value has not been achieved by compromising on quality. Having inspected the new range at the UK launch, I believe the engineering, innovation and build quality exceed anything else currently available in this part of the ATV market.

These are carefully engineered and solidly constructed machines. More importantly, many of their innovations have a clear purpose. They are designed to improve comfort, control, durability and everyday working capability.

What Has Changed on the CFORCE C-Series?

The 2026 CFORCE 450 Agri, CFORCE 450 and CFORCE 520 have been incredibly popular and successful machines. The new generation models aim to build on this success.

The C4 models use a new 408.8cc single-cylinder engine producing 33 hp and 34.5 Nm of torque. The C5 has a larger 498.6cc engine, producing 39 hp and 43.5 Nm.

However, the improvements go much further than engine output.

A newly developed CVT transmission provides smoother engagement and more predictable power delivery. CVT stands for continuously variable transmission. In practical terms, it allows the ATV to accelerate without the rider selecting conventional gears.

For farm, estate and equestrian work, low-speed control is often more useful than outright speed. Whether you are manoeuvring around livestock, reversing a trailer or travelling through a narrow gateway, smooth power delivery makes the machine easier to control.

Greater Comfort During Long Working Days

One of the things that impressed me most was the attention paid to rider comfort.

The new engines use dual balance shafts to reduce vibration. Meanwhile, the riding position has been redesigned with higher handlebars, smaller grips and a thicker seat. The bodywork is also narrower around the rider’s legs, making it easier to move naturally when crossing uneven ground.

CFMOTO reports that the leg-grip area is around one-third narrower than before. Seat cushioning has increased by an average of 8.2 mm.

Another clever improvement is the reverse-cylinder engine layout. This positions the exhaust towards the back of the ATV, directing more heat away from the rider. According to CFMOTO’s testing, the perceived temperature around the leg area is approximately 5°C lower.

These figures may not sound as exciting as horsepower or towing capacity. However, they are exactly the type of improvements that matter after several hours in the saddle.

Less heat, lower vibration and a better riding position can all reduce fatigue. That matters whether you are checking livestock, maintaining fencing, carrying feed or travelling around a large estate.

More Carrying and Towing Capability

The C-Series has also been designed to work harder.

Front rack capacity is now 40 kg, while the rear rack can carry up to 80 kg. That provides useful space for tools, feed bags, fencing equipment and other supplies.

All three models have a maximum towing capacity of 612 kg. They also come with selectable two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive and a locking front differential. This allows the rider to choose the appropriate level of traction for the ground conditions.

A 2,500 lb winch provides further versatility. It can assist with recovery and other suitable working tasks when used correctly.

The strengthened racks include several integrated tie-down points. Meanwhile, the CF-Connect system makes it easier to add compatible accessories.

These features make the new machines suitable for much more than recreational riding. They have clearly been developed with farming, equestrian work, gamekeeping, forestry and estate management in mind.

Modern Features Without Unnecessary Complexity

Innovation does not have to mean making a machine complicated.

The new C-Series includes a clear 5.9-inch LCD display, full LED lighting and several charging connections. These include USB-A, USB-C and a 12-volt power outlet.

The LED system also incorporates a reversing light. This is a particularly useful addition for customers who work during early mornings, late evenings or throughout the winter.

Maintenance access has also been improved. Key areas are easier to reach, while quick-release body panels simplify routine inspections and servicing.

This is an important part of good machinery design. A working ATV needs to be easy to inspect and maintain, not simply impressive when it is new.

Which CFMOTO C-Series ATV Should You Choose?

The right model depends on how the ATV will be used and which features you value most.

CFORCE C4 Agri

The CFORCE C4 Agri is the most affordable machine in the new range. It is priced at £4,700 excluding VAT and on-the-road charges.

It uses the same 408.8cc, 33 hp engine as the standard C4. However, it has steel wheels and does not include electronic power steering.

This makes it a straightforward working ATV for customers who want the new engine, chassis and improved comfort without paying for features they may not need.

I expect it to be particularly attractive to farms and other working properties where affordability and practicality take priority.

CFORCE C4

The CFORCE C4 is priced at £5,750 excluding VAT and on-the-road charges.

It adds electronic power steering and alloy wheels. Power steering reduces the physical effort required when making repeated turns, travelling slowly or manoeuvring with a load.

For many smallholders, equestrian customers and estate owners, the C4 should offer a very good balance. It is compact and approachable, yet it has the carrying, towing and traction features needed for genuine work.

CFORCE C5

The CFORCE C5 sits at the top of the new range and is priced at £6,250 excluding VAT and on-the-road charges.

Its larger 498.6cc engine produces 39 hp and more torque than the C4. Therefore, it is likely to appeal to customers towing more frequently, travelling over steeper ground or covering higher annual mileage.

UK models also include factory-fitted heated grips and a heated thumb throttle. That is a small detail with considerable value during cold winter mornings.

The C5 is available in Magma Red and Gedanite Grey, while the C4 and C4 Agri are offered in Cypress Green.

Why I Think the C-Series Will Do Well

After attending the UK launch, my overall impression is that CFMOTO has understood exactly what this part of the market needs.

Customers want an ATV that offers strong value, but they also expect quality, durability and dependable support. CFMOTO has been delivering that combination for years. The new C-Series strengthens that record with another significant step forward in engineering and design.

Having inspected the machines at the launch, I believe their build quality is better than many established alternatives. Details such as the new engine layout, stronger and lighter chassis, refined transmission, improved suspension and easier maintenance access show how thoroughly the range has been developed.

The same is true of the standard equipment. Full LED lighting, a reversing light, useful charging connections, reinforced racks and a 2,500 lb winch are not included simply to make the specification list longer. They all improve the way the machines work.

All three C-Series models are also supplied with a two-year parts and labour warranty.

Some legacy brands continue to charge a premium based largely on how long their name has been established. However, buyers are becoming more informed. They are comparing the engineering, build quality, standard equipment, warranty and purchase price rather than relying on the badge alone.

When judged as a complete package, I believe the new CFMOTO C-Series exceeds anything else currently available in this part of the market.

Final Thoughts

The launch of the new CFMOTO CFORCE C-Series feels like an important step for the brand.

The C4 Agri provides an affordable and practical working ATV. The C4 adds greater comfort through electronic power steering. Meanwhile, the C5 offers more power, additional torque and useful cold-weather equipment.

Whichever model suits the customer, the underlying message is the same. CFMOTO is setting a very high standard for engineering, innovation, comfort, build quality and standard specification, while continuing to offer more competitive pricing than many legacy brands.

Having seen the new range at the UK launch, I am genuinely impressed. I think these machines will prove popular with farmers, smallholders, equestrian properties, estates and anyone looking for a modern, capable ATV at a competitive price.
